When you are working with the internet, the constants are always the business paradigm shifts.

I have taken a leap of faith and joined Rosalind Gardner’s Affiliate Blogger Pro. I had to do something to get myself off this merry-go-round I’ve been on. 2011 is behind me, and I’m not looking back at all the wasted time and the hours of procrastination because I was often too bewildered and scared to move ahead.

In 2010-2011, I spastically studied hard, gained some understanding–and even comprehended some of the stuff enough to put it into practice–but I have to tell you that my utilization score is below 20%.

I ask you, “What good does it do to mine for gold, find some and then leave it laying on the ground?”

I’m setting a schedule, organizing my computer, weeding out my email, wading through the ABP Lessons, making sure I really understand, employing the information, and getting focused.

YES. I’m still working hard to assimilate the gazillion facets of this business–but my 2012 Rule is to consistently start blogging on here about what I learn–putting it into practice. I’m going to push myself so far out on a limb that I either have to DO the DOs and avoid the DONT’s, or face the shame publically–right here–in front of all of you guys who are in the same boat.

YES!  I’m going to make some money in this business.
2012 is going to be the best year of my life–I can just feel it!

The urge to give up and go to bed is enormous, yet I sit here trying to pick the right road and take it with full determination to arrive at the destination its name suggests.
Frequently, I find I have spent so much time deciding–I’m too tired to actually make the trip, so I vow to pick it up tomorrow–after I have given my brain time to clear from the fog that threatens to take away any chance I have to actually understand what I am doing. Does that make sense???? It does—doesn’t it? HELLLO!!!

Blogging Along

I went to all the trouble to set up two blogs that really matter to me, and once I did that, I found myself sitting around thinking about them and adding posts to them in my head—all the time.  Anyone out there ever do this?

So, today I have worked on one and posted a really good blog post–complete with tags, a great title, a call to action, and an illustration that fits like a glove. It feels good.

Now, I’m on here trying out Windows Live Writer to see if it will really work on my bloggingmywayforward.com blog.

Here goes . . . “I think I can, I think I can, I think I can . . . I knew I could, I knew I could, I knew I could do it!”
